Kelly and Roy – Dunadry Hotel

October 27th, 2011

A sunny, summer day (in July) for Kelly and Roys wedding. There was a real party atmosphere at the house as I arrived, which carried on throughout the day. The ceremony was held at Whitehouse Chapel (local one for me as only 10 mins up the road), followed by a reception at the Dunadry Hotel, complete with vintage china tea cups…

A few shots from the day are attached below… enjoy

Lesley Ann and Paul – Castle Ward

October 24th, 2011

At Castle Ward now for Paul and Lesley Anns wedding. The house and grounds make a great setting for a wedding, so plenty of options for photographs.

A few of the photographs are attached below…

Paul and Lesley Ann were also very kind to leave a recommendation

“Ian took our wedding photos beautifully. On the day he blended in so well and took relaxed and natural photos. We loved the fact he did not command how we put our hands or pointed our feet, just letting us relax and be ourselves. The photos were put online for viewing very quickly and our fab DVD of photos also arrived in good time (we love it the most!). When our prints arrived we were very impressed by the care that had been put into their presentation and the care that was taken in postage and packaging. We would recommend Ian Tate Photography to anybody. Thank you!!

Karen and Liam – Ramada Shawsbridge

October 23rd, 2011

In Belfast now at the end of May (I know… still way behind with the updates) at the wedding of Karen and Liam in St Michael’s church. We managed a few quick shots at Musgrave Park and Shaws bridge, before heading to the reception at the Ramada Hotel. Don’t miss the “Elvis” act at the bottom of the page…

Caroline and Sean – Burrendale Hotel

October 12th, 2011

Going back a little while here as I’ve a bit (possibly a lot) of catching up to do on the social media front! This was the beginning of May (always nice to look back to when the weather was better) in Drumaness for Caroline and Seans wedding. Starting the day with Caroline and the family at the house for a few shots, before heading up to meet Sean and the guys at Christ the King Church. The kids from Carolines class at the local school had all turned out to line the road with a banner for Caroline’s arrival before the ceremony. The weather held out for most of the day, despite a little fog on the way, which allowed for a short stop at Dundrum Castle. The guys wanted to climb to the top, though the girls reminded them why they were there.. Afterwards we arrived at the Burrendale Hotel in Newcastle for the reception..

A few random shots from the day are posted below…

Belfast City Hall – Joanne & William

June 9th, 2011

A local wedding this time, with Joanne and William. The wedding ceremony was held in Belfast City Hall, as a wedding was just finishing as I arrived, I met William and best man, Philip, across the road in Ten Square. Plenty of time before Joanne arrived with bridesmaids Debra & Alex, with flower girl Rebecca.

Despite the stormy weather we managed some quick shots in Carrickfergus Castle before heading the short trip to the Wind Rose for the reception. Some of the shots from the day are attached below…

Belfast Castle – Nikki & James

February 24th, 2011

A few photos from Nikki & James wedding earlier this month. The bridal prep at Nikki’s sisters home was very close, only round the corner from me in Whiteabbey. We also stopped in at Hazelbank on the way for a few quick photos on the beach, before heading up to Belfast Castle for the ceremony and reception. You may spot a few dress changes in the shots, Nikki had three dresses for the day…

Armagh City Hotel – Asri & Stephen

January 27th, 2011

A little late posting about Stephen & Asri’s wedding, this was their third ceremony, the others were held in Indonesia & Longford, Ireland. We had a little snow on the ground for this one though, and probably a bit of frost bite, particularly around Lurgan Park but a great day despite the cold. Asri had done a great job arranging her flowers as well as baking the cake, some of the photos from the day are attached below…

Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford – Emma and Dan

January 3rd, 2011

It was a very foggy day for Emma and Dans wedding on Wednesday, although a bit of fog never stopped anyone enjoying the day. As with most weddings, I started at Emma parents home for bridal prep (thanks to Emmas mum and dad for all of the offers for tea and coffee!). Then down to the church in Loughinisland to meet Dan and the guys for a few very quick photos before the guests began to arrive. A direct trip to Carlingford followed the ceremony, and despite the weather and fading light we headed to the old abbey (thanks to John from the Four Seasons Hotel for providing transport, and holding my camera gear while I scaled a few walls)
